Judge vs discern

Judge

Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it. (James 4:11)

 

discern

So that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ. (Phi 1:10)

 

What do you think of this two words?

What is difference between two concept?

 

 

In my opinion, 

'Judge' is toward somebody. 

'Discern' is toward myself.

 

But sometimes, I can't trust my discerning so I need to be discerned by somebody. (or judge?)

Likeness, Somebody may need to be discern. (or judge?)

In this case I'm confusing about this concept. 

 

Should I stay silently or talk about my opinion that may discern or judge or think?

In my case, I'm easy to stay motionlessly.

But It may not be the answer.

 

Do you have any idea about my opinion?
