I want to recommend Korean Movie..

'화려한 휴가 (May 18)' This movie present the Korea's history in 1980.

In 1980, Gwangju(city name) peoples required democracy-government and demonstrated. 

 

Because in 1979, Korea's President Park died but in 12 December night, some soldiers had revolted and got the political power.

 

General Jeon, the head of the rebel army, wanted to be a president. So he ordered to suppress Gwangju citizen. Then the ROKA-SWC (the full name is Republic of Korea Army Special Warfare Command) sent to Gwangju.

 

This movie show that days.

This is very important moment in Korea's history.
